What We Believe
As living beings we have various needs: food, shelter, and clothing for our bodies. But the innermost need for all of us is love and affection. The ancient Vedic Scriptures of India explain that by nature we are spiritual beings, and the peace, happiness and fulfillment we desire can be found in awakening our loving relationship with the Supreme Being. By learning to love the Supreme Being we will naturally love and share friendly dealings with all beings.
Discontent brings up irritation that in turn may cause more serious problems both in the society and individual life. Even though by now humans have accumulated such a vast volume of knowledge and we have many prospects and hopes for a better future, we have to admit that we have not learned what the true deep contentment and happiness is. Or else there would have been no wars and conflicts; only peace, harmony and love.
The Vedic knowledge is meant to fill up this profound gap in today world’s existence. From the Bhakti scriptures we can learn exactly where and how to look for the desired peace, happiness and fulfillment. This knowledge has always been available. However in the past majority of people were just ‘too busy’ being preoccupied with their own attempts to attain happiness. Luckily for us now we are living in the great era of spiritual renaissance. More and more people will be turning their attention to the Vedas and thus make their lives and the world better.
